What do you mean when you say “We Come To You”?
We conduct our workshops at your home, neighborhood clubhouse, school, daycare, or wherever you want us to be! We come to the kids, instead of the kids going to a store. This allows children to be in a comfortable environment to make their new friends.
How long does a Workshop take?
We arrive 15 minutes before your Workshop is scheduled to start. Once it starts, the Workshop takes approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours from start to finish, including taking payments and packing up.
Are you limited on which Stuffable Friends you can choose for a Birthday Party?
No, the Birthday child and Guest children may choose any of our Friends.
How do the children create their new friends?
Each child chooses a friend and receives a bag of stuffing. With the children sitting in a circle, we demonstrate and assist them in how to hand-stuff their friends. After all the friends are stuffed, the children are given the chance to dress their friends from a child-sized shopping rack filled with clothing.Is there an age limit?
NO! Anyone can create a new friend. We have conducted Workshops with children as young as 1 year old to high school kids! We have also found that adults who are at the party with their children frequently decide to create an animal themselves!
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes, we charge Kentucky sales tax as required by law.
Do you have Gift Certificates?
Yes, we sell Gift Certificates in any amount.
How far in advance can I schedule a Workshop?
We can schedule a Workshop in as little as 24 hours if the date is available (and we have done that!). We can also schedule as far out as you would like to make sure the date and time you want is reserved.
What if it snows or is icy on the day of our scheduled Workshop?
If the schools/colleges in your county or surrounding counties are closed and/or close early, all Animal Express Workshops will be rescheduled. If your Workshop is scheduled on a weekend, if businesses and/or churches in your county have closed or cancelled, your Workshop will be rescheduled. This is for the safety of our Workshop Conductors who must travel to and from the Workshop.
